Here are three statements about myself. Two are true, and one is false. Can you guess which one doesn't belong?
1. I don't eat mammals.
2. I am taller than all of my siblings.
3. I was the lead singer of a metal band for eight years.
So, which one is false? Best of luck!

I think your lie is that you don't eat mamals.
ReplyDeleteAshley that is awesome! We are on the same page - thinking wise - because I too think that Matthew's lie is that he doesn't eat mammals. Something about the metal band just seemed right to me. I think that you thought about your "two truths and a lie" very nicely Matthew.
ReplyDeleteI think the lie is the mammals one. Unless you are a vegetarian, which could be totally possible, but since you go to River Falls, a major Ag school I say that is the lie. Also, considering your display picture shows you wearing star shaped sunglasses, I could totally see the singer of a metal band being possible.
ReplyDeleteI think your lie is being taller then all of your siblings.
ReplyDeleteHmm, with the sunglasses I can believe you are a metal head, even the lead singer, though you kind of remind me of Phil Collins in your picture! I can also believe that you do not partake in consuming mammals, but I bet you aren’t the tallest of your siblings. Maybe it’s just the opposite; you are the shortest or you don’t have any siblings?

ReplyDeleteAlright everyone, it is now the time of truth! And the lie is...(suspenseful drumroll, please)...I am not taller than all of my other siblings. Although I am the oldest of my siblings, my two younger brothers are 6'3" and 6'5" while I am only 6'0". I am taller than my sister, but she is adopted, so she is somewhat excused for not surpassing me in height. As for the other two statements, firstly, I am what my some of my friends call, "Hindu by diet," because I do not eat any mammals. Secondly, I was the lead singer for a metal band for eight years, during which time I had an absolute blast touring the U.S. and playing live alongside hundreds of awesome bands.
